Analysis of Agricultural Climate Resources in Puge County

  • Based on meteorological observation data from the Puge National Station from 1991 to 2010 and the data from 13 regional automatic stations in townships since their establishment, the variation characteristics of heat, water, and light resources in Puge County were analyzed. The results indicate an uneven distribution of agroclimatic resources in Puge County, with distinct vertical climate features. The northwestern region exhibits relatively poor heat resources, characterized by a cooler climate and higher rainfall. The central and southern regions are endowed with abundant heat resources, ample rainfall, and sufficient sunlight. The northeastern region experiences a pleasant climate but suffers from relatively low rainfall and significant drought conditions.
