Abstract:
Based on historical meteorological data from Litang County National Meteorological Observatory and regional observation stations along the Sichuan-Tibet Railway (2022—2024), DDW1 lightning locator data (2021—2014), three-dimensional lightning monitoring and early warning system data and the GIS geographic information system, the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of hazardous weather events such as strong winds, heavy rainfall (rainstorms) and lightning in the section are analyzed, a "Comprehensive Meteorological Risk Normalization Index" evaluation system integrating the impacts of multiple hazards was constructed. The results indicate that meteorological risk standards for each road section can be classified into three levels: low, medium, and high. The dominant risk factors requiring key prevention are strong winds, rainstorms, and lightning. In the Jiawa Township (Section 8), the risk levels of rainstorms and lightning disasters are high, while the risk level of strong wind disasters is medium. In the Litang County town area (Section 9), the risk levels of strong winds, rainstorms, and lightning disasters range from medium to relatively high. In the Heni Township (Section 10), the risk level of strong wind disasters is high, while the risk levels of rainstorms and lightning disasters are medium.
