内江市两次冬季寒潮天气过程对比分析

Comparative Analysis of Two Winter Cold Wave Events in Neijiang City

  • 摘要: 利用美国国家环境预报中心(NCEP)再分析资料和自动站观测资料,对2024年1月19—22日(简称过程1)和2月20—23日(简称过程2)内江市两次寒潮天气过程进行对比分析。结果表明:两次过程均属于两槽一脊环流形势,冷空气和850 hPa冷平流的不同强度和路径,导致过程1在48 h后的降温幅度逐渐增大,而过程2在24 h降温幅度最大;过程1有弱南支槽配合,西南气流和偏北风交汇在四川盆地南部,导致内江以及整个盆地降水量偏多;过程2没有南支槽,水汽聚集在盆地东南部,降水偏少。

     

    Abstract: Using NCEP reanalysis data and automatic station observation data, a comparative analysis of two cold wave events in Neijiang from January 19th to 22nd, 2024 (Process 1) and February 20th to 23rd, 2024 (Process 1) was conducted. The results indicate that both processes developed under a circulation pattern characterized by two troughs and one ridge. The dfferent intensity and path of the cold air and the associated cold advection at 850 hPa led to a gradual temperature drop peaking after 48 hours in Process 1, while the most significant temperature decrease in Process 2 occurred within 24 hours. Process 1 was accompanied by a weak southern branch trough, where southwesterly flow converged with northerly winds over the southern Sichuan Basin, resulting in increased precipitation in Neijiang and across the entire Basin. In contrast, the absence of a southern branch trough in Process 2 caused moisture to converge predominantly in the southeastern part of the Basin, leading to less precipitation.
