多普勒测风激光雷达与彭州气象梯度塔观测对比分析

Comparative Analysis of Observations from a Coherent Doppler Wind Lidar and the Pengzhou Meteorological Gradient Tower

  • 摘要: 随着低空经济的不断发展,低空精细化风场监测需求日益突出。本文利用成都彭州同址观测站内多普勒测风激光雷达与100 m气象梯度塔2023年2月28日—3月27日的风速和风向资料,分别进行了40~90 m不同高度非降水和降水条件下以及16个象限风向区间内的风速和风向相关性分析。结果表明:(1)观测期间,彭州地区风速整体偏小,基本小于8 m·s−1,风向基本遍布所有方向;(2)雷达和梯度塔对于风速观测的一致性整体较高,具有随着高度增大逐渐增强的特征,仅在低空40 m高度受强湍流影响出现相对较差的情况;(3)风向精度受高度影响较小,雷达和梯度塔观测风向的整体相关性优于风速;(4)降水条件下多普勒测风激光雷达测风精度并未变低,其中雷达与梯度塔对偏南方向风速和风向的观测偏差最大,这是安装在梯度塔北侧的测风传感器受塔体自身对周边流场的影响所致。

     

    Abstract: With the construction and development of the low-altitude economy, the demand for refined wind field monitoring at low-altitude environments has become increasingly prominent. Based on the wind speed and wind direction of the Doppler wind lidar and a 100-meter meteorological gradient tower in Pengzhou, Chengdu from February 28 to March 27, 2023, the correlation analysis of wind speed and wind direction were conducted under non-precipitation and precipitation conditions at different heights ranging from 40 to 90 meters, as well as across 16 directional sectors. The results indicate that: (1) During the observation period, wind speeds in the Pengzhou area were generally low, mostly below 8 m·s-1, while wind directions were distributed across nearly all quadrants. (2) The consistency between the lidar and gradient tower wind speed observations was generally high, showing an improving trend with increasing altitude, except at the 40-meter level where stronger turbulence led to relatively poorer agreement. (3) Wind direction accuracy was less affected by altitude, and the overall correlation of wind direction between the two instruments was better than that for wind speed. (4) Under precipitation conditions, the wind measurement accuracy of the Doppler wind lidar did not degrade. The largest deviations in wind speed and direction between the two instruments were observed for southerly winds, which is attributed to the influence of the tower structure on the local airflow around the wind sensors installed on the northern side of the gradient tower.
