Asian Winter Monsoon's Response under Strong Radiation Forcing

  • Using NCAR CSM Version 1.4, Asian winter monsoon's response to the varies of the powerful external radiation forcing (counterpart of the solar constant changing) is observed, results show that:i) local temperature increasing with the solar constant increasing, temperature in mid-higher latitude areas is higher than that of in lower, that is more obvious in big solar constant experiment;ii) air temperature is adding with the solar constant, troposphere's temperature is enlarging violenced, especially on high layer, but mid-higher stratosphere temperature decreasing;iii) the response of Asian winter monsoon enhancing with solar constant, and the bigger of the solar constant, the higher of the highs, but for different experiments, the echoes are different, the intensity growing range of high with latitude is great (little) at 500hPa (100hPa).
