Analysis on Climatic Characteristics of Serious Drought in Summer in Chongqing

The serious drought in Summer is an objective climatic law, which occurs nearly 100 years cycle in Chongqing.The serious summer drought in Chongqing and nearby area in 2006 resulted from the combine effects of nature climatic changes and human activity, it also related with the stronger South Asia high locating to the east side of the average ridge, the stronger subtropical high locating to the west side of the average ridge, and the stronger Hadley Circulation.The abnormal high temperature in 2006 can be mainly attributed to Solar Radiation, serious drought, and deep subsidence warming.lastly, we cite an example of high-temperature warning.
