Characteristics of Temperature Change in Chongqing During 1961-2006

On basis of the monthly average, maximum and minimum temperature data from 30 weather stations in Chongqing during the period of 1961~2006, the characteristics of temperature change in Chongqing is analyzed.The main results show that the annual average, maximum temperature in Chongqing both experienced a process from decrease to increase during the period of 1961~2006, and the decreasing treands from 1961 to 1985 and the increasing trends from 1986 to 2006 are all distinctive and over the significant level at 0.01.The annual minimum temperature in Chongqing had an increasing trend all the while over the significant level at 0.01.As for average and maximum temperature, there are distinctive decreasing treads in spring and summer from 1961 to 1985, and there are distinctive increasing trends in spring and autumn from 1986 to 2006.
