Contrastive Analysis on Two Regional Heavy-Hard Rainfalls in the Northeast of Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau

  • By contrasting and analyzing two regional heavy-hard rainfalls in the east of Qinghai province on June 19 to 20 (“6. 9”for short) and August 1 to 3 (“8. 1”for short), 2015 using conventional meteorological observation, automatic station data and NCEP/NCAR1°×1° reanalysis data. The results show that: there are cold air from the hexi corridor southward on the ground with convergence line of two processes, it is high-level divergence, low-level convergence on the divergence field, there is a strong upward movement of the whole layer of the atmosphere. Water vapor characteristic shows that dry and cold on highlevel, and warm and wet on low-level, specific humidity are both more than 8g/kg on 700 h Pa, heavy rain all occurred area where is Ki>32℃.
