Papers on Evaluation of Meteorological Service Benefits in China: A Bibliometric Analysis

To understand the situation in evaluation of meteorological service benefits in China by analyzing the papers on evaluation of meteorological service benefits covered in China Academic Journal Network Publishing Database from 1995 to 2011. Papers on evaluation of meteorological service benefits and distribution of their authors, key words, funds, and publishing journals were analyzed. A total of 110 on evaluation of meteorological service benefits were covered in CAJD, with a coauthor rate of 74. 5% and a cooperation degree of 2. 6. The greatest number of related papers was published in Meteorological Monthly. Asthma was found to be the most used key word for “Economic Benefit”, Forty papers were supported by different kinds of fund. The study on evaluation of meteorological service benefits in China has been developing rapidly. But the core authors needs to be strengthened. The research is focused on evaluation practices. Hope the future in the evaluation of the theory and technology can make innovation.
