Review of the Plateau Shear-line Studies

Studies on plateau shear - line characters, large - scale background, the shear - line maintaining and moving mechanism, reciprocity mechanism between the shear - line and other weather systems, as well as the effect of the shear - line on precipitation over more than half century have been reviewed by the numbers. The article pointed out the researches on plateau shear - line are very lack, such as the shear - line function at different stages of precipitation, the effect on durative precipitation in our country, the shear - line cloud characters, the shear - line active characters in winter, the effect of the shear - line on weather, eastward moving characters, as well as reciprocity mechanism between the shear - line and weather systems on different layer, different latitude and different scales and so on. The researches on plateau shear - line need to be intensified further.
