The Consideration of Meteorological Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Capability and Risk Prevention of Rural Areas in Sichuan Province

In recent years,especially after "5.12" Wenchuan earthquake,the effections of meteorological disaster prevention and mitigation in the rural areas of Sichuan are remarkable,but the situation is still serious.Therefore,the ability to prevent and mitigate the disasters needs to improved to adapt the requirements of scientific development concept,and people-oriented,which relates to the reformational development in Sichuan rural places and the peasants' interests.In this paper,the meteorological disaster prevention and mitigation capability and risk prevention in the rural areas of Sichuan Province are discussed.
