Woody Plants Phenology Responsed to Temperature Changes in China

  • In this paper,by using woody plants phenological data of 21 stations and daily temprature data of 599 stations throughout China, woody plants phenology responsed to temperature changes from 1963 to 1988 in China are analyzed. The results prove that plant spring phenophase and spring temperature were overall negatively correlated throughout China: higher the air temperature, more advance the phenophase;plant autumn phenophase and autumn temperature were positively correlated throughout China, but the correlation was not as significant as spring phenophase;Growing season length of woody plants phenology has a clear south-north gradient. The impact of early spring temperature to phenology growing season is greater than end of autumn temperature to phenology growing season.
