Analysis on the Products and Echo of Dual-linear Polarization Doppler Weather Radar

The dual-linear polarization technology,Doppler weather radar can detect polarimetric radar variables which are close relation to the characters of precipitation particle.Some primary product's principle,such as Z_DR、K_DP、ρ_hv(0),are introduced in this paper.And in order to use the radar data in Aeronautical Meteorology Service,the data from 721 dual-linear Polarization Doppler weather radar are used in distinguishing the solid precipitation from rain and estimating of rainfall rate and liquid water content during the period July-August 2008.
