Typical Case Analysis and Countermeasures of Wind Farm Lightning Disaster

Based on the on-site investigation and exploration of lightning strike and the data of Sichuan Lightning Early Warning and Monitoring Network, the causes of lightning strikes on wind turbine tower groups in wind farms are analyzed. Corresponding lightning protection countermeasures and suggestions are proposed, so as to improve the safety awareness of lightning protection and disaster reduction as well as avoid the recurrence of similar accidents.
