Some Progresses of Plateau Weather Reserch——Based on the Research of Institute of Plateau Meteorology.CMA

The review of plateau weather system (including plateau vortex,southwest vortex and plateau shear line) activities,espeically plateau vortex activites moved out the plateau,the mechanism of rainstorm induced by the vortex,and the application of southwest vortex intensified observational data in weather forecast and weather analysis has been presented in recent 5 years for institute of Plateau Meteorology of Chengdu.Then,there are some deficiencies to be pointed,such as repercussion study of mult-scales weahter system,the mechanism of development and maintenance of plateau weather system,the application of intensified observational data and so on to promote plateau weather reserch.
