The Role of Climate Resource Analysis and Zoning in Precision Poverty Alleviation——Taking Wangcang County as an Example

Based on the climate application technologies of Sichuan Climate Center, the wind and solar energy evaluation and availability of Wangcang County, the target place of national poverty alleviation were analyzed; the main commercial crops, included tea, walnut and kiwi fruit were analyzed by the climate adaption mapping technologies, according to the mapping results, the development proposals were given. The flood and geological hazards risk mapping technologies were applied to formulate the risk classification of Wangcang County. The results were applied to elevate the productivity and disaster resistance of Wangcang County, reduced the uncertainty of targeted poverty alleviation, provided new application ways of current meteorological technologies.
