Overview on the Characteristic of Boundary Layer Structure in Tibetan Plateau

The boundary layer,connecting the special underlying surface in the Tibetan Plateau and the free atmosphere,plays an important role in the process,which influences the weather and climate in the east of China,Asianmonsoon and the global general circulation.It seriously restricts the weather and climate study in the Tibetan Plateau due to the lack of observational data in the boundary layer.The characteristic of boundary layer structure in the Tibetan Plateau is summarized and analysed,and some deficiencies in the present research are also discussed in the article.
