Analysis of a Regional Heavy Rain Process in Ganzi Prefecture

Using general observations,numerical prediction products,and satellite images,it gives the analysis on circulation background and numerical prediction physical conditions of a regional heavy rain occured in Ganzi from Aug,22~Aug.25,2011.The results show:plateau vortex and shear is the main factor to cause the heavy rain.Also,kinds of physics forerast of numerical prediction products is significant for reality forecast.
