Analysis of C-band Doppler Radar in Detecting Rainstorm Process

By analyzing the regular observation data of a rainstorm process in West-Pacific subtropics high-pressure in Chengdu region on 29-30, June, 2005 and the detecting data of an C-band doppler radar on Fenghuangshan airport, focusing on reflectance factor (Z) , radial velocity (V) , radial spectrum (W) and verticcl integral liquid (VIL) , it concluds the echoe feature indexes to nowcasting Rainstorm, and to improve efficiency of detecting and warning in chengdu region.
