Abstract:
Using the daily glaze and rime data of 85 stations in Guizhou Province from 1961 to 2019,analyzing and comparing three existing indicators of freezing, the index and classification standards of the freezing process of a single station in Guizhou Province are revised. And analyze the characteristics according to the new standard. The results show that the duration of freezing process in Guizhou Province is 3 to 39 days. As the duration of freezing process increases, the frequency of occurrence decreases exponentially. There is a phenomenon that the first day of the freezing process is early/late,and the end day is also early/late. With the increase of freezing levels, the scope of its influence is shrinking, but the high-value areas are still concentrated between 26.5 and 27.5°N. The low-value areas are still in the northern and southern. The number of the freezing process of 4 different grades of single station showed a slow decrease trend in 59 years. The freezing process of the four typical stations occurred in the same time, with the largest proportion in January, the second in February, and the least in November. It mainly appeared in mid-January to early February, with the least in early November.
