Abstract:
Using airport conventional observation data(METAR messages),ERA-Interim(1°×1°) reanalysis data and twice-a-day sounding data from Wenjiang Meteorological Station,a continuous low visibility weather process was carried out Research and analysis at Shuangliu Airport from December 7 to 8,2016. The results show that:①The 500 hPa circulation background is closely related to the changes in the low-visibility weather process;②The changes in the height and thickness of the inversion layer play a leading role in the entire evolution process, and the long-term existence of the inversion layer directly leads to the duration of the weather process Longer;③The clear night sky, inversion layer, ground cooling radiation, water vapor saturation, and the breeze near the ground, combined to generate radiation fog, resulting in a sharp drop in visibility at 15:00 on the 7 th;④The surface wind field was under breeze conditions during the whole process. The air pressure gradually decreased, and the two did not play a decisive role in the change of visibility.
