一次由“弓形回波”所引发的冰雹天气过程雷达特征分析

Analysis of Radar Characteristics of Hail Weather Process Caused by “Bow Echo”

  • 摘要: 利用黔东南州新一代C波段多普勒天气雷达资料,对2015年5月8日凌晨发生在贵州东北部区域的强冰雹“弓形回波”雷达产品进行了详细分析。结果表明,反射率因子维持强度较大值及较长的持续时间是此次冰雹过程较为明显的特征,回波前沿飑线回波带的回波强度梯度较大,弓形结构保持时间较长;径向速度图上,零速度线两侧正负速度对差值的变化、零速度线的旋转、以及逆风区的出现都是强对流天气过程最常见的特性;RCS上,出现了典型的有界弱回波区和强回波悬垂,强回波伸展高度超过了当天-20℃高度层;VCS上,倾斜上升气流与中层下沉气流在风暴低层形成径向辐合区;垂直液态水含量的跳变与降雹有着很好的对应关系,降雹时,其VIL值维持较大数值。

     

    Abstract: Using Doppler radar data,Give the detailed analysis to the strong hail bow echo which occurred in Qiandongnan state on May 8,2015.Results show that the reflectivity factor to maintain strengther and longer is the obvious characteristics of the hail process,echo intensity gradient is larger in the front of squall line echo band and bow structure is maintained for a long time. At radial velocity,the changes to the difference at the positive and negative velocity on both sides of zero velocity line,zero velocity line rotation and wind region reversing are the most common characteristics of strong convection weather process. At RCS,the typical weak echo region,strong echo overhanging and stretching height of strong echoes exceeding above -20℃ level. At RCS,inclined upward airflow and middle level sinking air formation the radial convergence zone. There are a good corresponding relation between the hail and the jump of vertical liquid water content,hailing time,the VIL value to maintain the value of the larger.
