Abstract: According to the statistics of types of domestic metro accidents，combined with domestic lightning disaster cases in recent years，this essay analyses that:lightning stroke is one of the important reasons that resulting in different types of metro operation accidents．When the authors analyzed the financial loss of metro line accidents caused by lightning stroke，they acted individual labor embodied value corresponding to time cost as evaluation gauge，built up magnitude relations of several parameters such as passenger flow，average load factor，capacity reduction factor，the number of train operation，and restoration of traffic time resulted from passengers entering metro station in total delaying time and unit time cased by lightning stroke towards metro line．At the same time，they made used of the operation statistics of Chengdu metro Line 1 to evaluate the financial loss of metro line stoke by lightning．The result suggested that，in metro operation flat period，30 minutes of train outage caused by lightning stroke will resulted in financial loss of 89.7 thousands Yuan，while in metro operation peak period，60 minutes of train outage caused by lightning stroke will resulted in financial loss of 0.8564 million Yuan．
