Abstract: Analysed the difference of sunshine duration of Wenjiang station between the data came from Jordan sunshine recorder and radiation station’s pyrheliometer．The results showed that the data came from Jordan sunshine recorder was higher than the data came from the pyrheliometer．The day total value was on the high side for 0.22 hours，the monthly total value was on the high side for 6.3 hours，and the yearly total value was on the high side for 78.8 hours．The mean monthly difference was bigger in the summer half year than in the winter half year，and the discrete distribution of the difference between each month in summer half year was bigger than in the winter half year．The data shows a significant linear correlation．Because of the observation principle，improper installation and weather effect etc．there were differences of sunshine hours between the two observation methods．
