两种边界层参数化方案对WRF模拟青藏高原2013年夏季降水的影响

Influence of Two Planetary Boundary Layer Parameterization Schemes on Summer Rain in 2013 on Tibet Plateau by WRF Model

  • 摘要: 本文利用区域气候模式WRF分析了YSU和MYJ两种边界层方案对青藏高原2013年夏季降水模拟的影响。结果表明:两种方案均能模拟出高原地区夏季降水南多北少的空间分布,但均低估了西藏地区而高估了青海南部的降水。并且,两种方案在高原南部都存在辐散环流偏差,而在青海南部存在辐合偏差。对比得到:YSU方案相对于MYJ方案更接近于观测,前者能更好的模拟出高原中、东部地区降水的空间分布。而造成两种方案模拟差异的主要原因是:MYJ方案模拟的位势高度在高原及其南侧地区比YSU方案高,导致西太平洋副热带高压更为偏西,孟加拉湾及南海进入高原的水汽偏少。

     

    Abstract: In this paper,we simulate the precipitation for the summer of 2013 over the Tibet Plateau(TP) with two numbers of planetary boundary layer(PBL) schemes(YSU and MYJ) by using the Weather Research and Forecasting(WRF) model.The experiment indicated precipitation over Southern Qinghai- Xizang Plateau is much larger than Northern,but underestimate the precipitation on Tibet Plateau and overestimate precipitation in south of Qinghai.There are divergent circulation bias in Southern Plateau and convergence circulation bias in the southern of Qinghai.In comparison of two PBL schemes,YSU is closer to the observation.And in spatial distribution,YSU performs better in middle and south of TP.Main reasons of the difference of the two schemes:Relative to YSU,MYJ overestimates the geopotential height in TP and south of TP,which lead to the West Pacific subtropical high is more West and less moisture travel from the bay of Bengal and South China Sea to TP.
