Abstract:
According to the measured data of Kashgar Meteorological Station during 1971 ~ 2010, characteristics of dust weather occurrence in the past 40 years, and the relationship between sand-dust weather and monthly precipitation, monthly average wind speed, monthly mean temperature, and other meteorological factors of Kashgar City were analyzed in this paper. The results show that the total days of sand-dust weather occurrence was most in the 80 s of the 20th century, in 1985, total days of sand-dust weather were 272, while form 1971 to 2005, it concussively decreased year by year, after 2006 that increased.The sand-dust weather occurred most in spring, followed by the summer, and autumn, and least in winter, the sand-dust weather occurred most frequently in April, least in Jan. There is significant linear relationship between the frequency of sanddust weather and monthly total precipitation, monthly average wind speed and monthly mean temperature, above factors are seemed to be direct factors for occurrence of the sand-dust weather.
