Abstract:
With rainfall data from 1966 to 2009 of all counties of Meishan and of three counties,adjacent to Qingshen,of Leshan,and data about population,agricultur-al acreage,rivers of 10 villages and towns in Qingshen,using methodology of natural disaster risk index and models of disaster risk assessment for autumn rain of west China,the risk indexes are calculated and risk zoning maps for autumn rain of west China are drawn based on geographic information system.The results indicate that the highest risk zone in Qingshen of autumn rain of west China is the western areas of the village Luobo and western border of the town Hanyang,The sub-highest risk zone is middle areas of Luobo,western and middle areas of Hanyang,western border of the town Xilong,river basin of the Minjiang River,Simeng river and Guanting reservoir
