宜宾市秋冬季PM2.5污染天气形势与潜在源分析

Objective Weather Cassification and Potential Source Analysis of PM2.5 Pollution in Autumn and Winter in Yibin

  • 摘要: 基于2015—2023年ERA5再分析数据、宜宾市PM2.5监测及气象观测资料,采用PCT(principal component analysis in T-mode)客观分型方法,将宜宾市PM2.5污染严重的1月、2月、11月、12月的850 hPa位势高度场分为六种天气型,并分析不同天气型下的PM2.5污染状况及气象要素特征和PM2.5潜在源区。结果表明:(1)东部高压型(Type3)和低压底部型(Type4)为PM2.5易污染型,低涡后部型(Type5)和鞍型(Type6)为较易污染型,而高压底部型(Type1)和大陆高压型(Type2)则为不易污染型。(2)易污染天气型对应相对湿度大、地面风速小、边界层高度低、通风系数小的天气特征,均有利于PM2.5在本地增长和积累;较易污染天气型在无明显降水且地面风速小于2 m·s−1时,亦有利于PM2.5污染的发生。(3)Type2、Type3和Type4天气型的PM2.5污染受外来传输影响较明显,潜在源区位于东北方向和本地区域,分布较广泛且以短距离输送为主。

     

    Abstract: Based on the ERA5 reanalysis data, PM2.5 monitoring data and meteorological observation data of Yibin from 2015 to 2023, with the principal component analysis in T-mode (PCT) objective classification method, the 850 hPa geopotential height fields during the months with severe PM2.5 pollution (January, February, November, and December) were categorized into six weather types. The PM2.5 pollution conditions, meteorological characteristics, and potential source regions under different weather types were analyzed. The results show that: (1) The eastern high-pressure type (Type 3) and low-pressure bottom type (Type 4) were prone to PM2.5 pollution, while the back of a low vortex type (Type 5) and saddle type (Type 6) were relatively prone to pollution. In contrast, the high-pressure bottom type (Type 1) and continental high-pressure type (Type 2) were less likely to experience pollution. (2) Weather types prone to pollution were characterized by high relative humidity, low surface wind speed, low boundary layer height, and small ventilation coefficients, all of which favored local growth and accumulation of PM2.5. Relatively prone to pollution weather types also contributed to PM2.5 pollution when there was no significant precipitation and the surface wind speed was less than 2 m·s−1. (3) Type 2, Type 3, and Type 4 was significantly influenced by external transport, with potential source regions located in the northeast and local area, widely distributed, and mainly involving short-distance transport.
