川东北西南涡暴雨特征及落区分析

Analysis of Rainstorm Characteristics and Precipitation Distribution Associated with Southwest Vortices in Northeastern Sichuan

  • 摘要: 利用常规气象观测、地面加密自动站和ERA5再分析资料,根据低涡路径对2010—2021年西南涡诱发的川东北暴雨个例进行统计分型,对比分析了不同类型的环流背景、热力动力结构和暴雨落区特征。结果表明:影响川东北暴雨的低涡路径主要分为东北型(NE)、偏东型(E)和停滞型(S)三类,NE型暴雨落区为全区,E型偏东,S型偏北,暴雨中心均呈东北-西南向分布。NE型500 hPa中低纬为典型的“东高西低”形势,对500 hPa低槽和700 hPa西南涡的东移都有一定的阻挡作用;E型副高位置较NE型明显偏东和偏南,有利于500 hPa低槽和700 hPa西南涡沿长江流域继续东移;S型高压环流更强,对低涡具有更强的阻挡作用,不利于西南涡的发展和东移。低涡中心附近对流活动较弱,低涡东侧中低层为上升运动区和正涡度区;S型强降水位于700 hPa低涡东侧2.0~3.0个经度范围,E型和NE型强降水位于700 hPa低涡东侧1.0~2.0个经度范围,且该范围为偏南风大风核中心或极大风速辐合区。

     

    Abstract: Based on the conventional meteorological observation data, surface intensive automatic station data and ERA5 reanalysis data, rainstorm events in Northeastern Sichuan induced by Southwest Vortices from 2010 to 2021 were statistically classified according to the movement paths, and the characteristics of different types of circulation background, thermodynamic and dynamic structure and rainstorm distribution were compared and analyzed. The results show that the paths of Southwest Vortices affecting the rainstorm in northeastern Sichuan are mainly divided into three types: northeast type (NE), east type (E) and stagnation type (S). The rainfall area of the NE type covers the entire region, while that of the E type is concentrated in the east, and the S type is in the north. The rainfall centers of all three types show a northeast-southwest orientation. At the 500 hPa level, the NE type is characterized by a typical "east-high, west-low" pattern at mid-low latitudes, which hinders the eastward movement of the 500 hPa trough and the 700 hPa Southwest Vortex. For the E type, the western Pacific subtropical high is situated farther east and south compared to the NE type, which is conducive to the continued eastward movement of the 500 hPa trough and the 700 hPa Southwest Vortex along the Yangtze River Basin. The S type features a stronger high-pressure circulation, which more effectively blocks the Southwest Vortex, thereby inhibiting its development and eastward movement. The convective activity is weak near the center of the low vortex, and the middle and low levels on the east side of the low vortex are the ascending motion area and the positive vorticity area. For the S type, heavy precipitation occurs within 2.0~3.0 degrees longitude east of the 700 hPa vortex center. In contrast, for the E and NE types, heavy rainfall is located within 1.0~2.0 degrees longitude east of the 700 hPa vortex center, and this range is the center of the southerly strong wind core or the maximum wind speed convergence zone.
