Abstract: Using standardized statistical methods of aviation meteorological work quality, various aviation meteorological work quality data of major airports in Southwest China from 2021 to 2022 is analyzed, the overall situation of aviation meteorological work in Southwest China in the past two years is objectively presented. The results show that the distribution of important weather in Southwest China is obviously different. The short-term forecast of low visibility weather in winter and the nowcasting of thunderstorm weather in summer are still the shortcomings of aviation weather forecast service. Standardized statistics of meteorological work quality data can not only further clarify the focus of meteorological support work, provide suggestions for improvement of aviation meteorological service optimization, but also point out the research direction for improving product quality and refining conclusions.
