Abstract:
The 5.12 earthquake in 2008 caused great losses to Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County, the national general weather station in Beichuan was moved from Maoba Village Station in Qushan Town ( referred to as the old station ) to Yongchang Town Station 30km away ( referred to as the new station ). The compilation data of the new station from 2011 to 2018 and the compilation data of the old station from 1981 to 2010 are used to compare and analyze with the difference statistical method. The results show that in the new station, the average temperature is 0.7°C higher, the extreme minimum temperature is higher, and the extreme maximum temperature is lower. Meanwhile, the annual sunshine hours is 139.3h more, the 2min average wind speed is 0.5m/s larger, the extreme maximum wind speed is larger, the annual precipitation is 29.5mm less, and the wind direction is about 90°, which is quite different.
