Abstract:
Based on the meteorological data of ground observation stations in Sichuan Province from 1980 to 2014, the spatial and temporal variations of haze are analyzed. The results show the high value area of haze was mainly distributed in the Sichuan Basin. There were few haze days in the western Sichuan Plateau and Panxi Area. The severe haze days were mainly distributed in the central and eastern parts of the Sichuan Basin, and the annual average maximum value of moderate haze days was 40 days ,which occurred in Zigong. Mild haze days changed little with time and occurred most frequently. The variations of severe haze days were very similar to that of the moderate haze days, which showed a fluctuation change from 1980 to 2014, reached the peak in 1992 and then showed a decline trend. The occurrence of haze had significant seasonal characteristics, with the highest in winter, followed by autumn, spring and summer in sequence.
