Abstract:
Based on the daily observation data of 84 stations in Guizhou province from 1961 to 2019, the indicators of regional freezing rain events in Guizhou Province were determined, and the spatial and temporal characteristics of regional freezing rain events were analyzed according to the new standard. The results are as follows: The frequency and cumulative days showed a decreasing trend, and the interdecadal scale was characterized by “positive-negative-positive-negative”. On the interannual scale, there were significant oscillation periods between 7 and 8 years and between 3 and 4 years. The regional freezing rain events occurred most frequently over the central part of Guizhou province, while the occurrence frequency was low over northeastern and southern parts. The regional freezing rain events could be classified into five types, namely, the central and eastern type, the middle type, the middle-western type, the western type, and the whole area type, among which the middle-western type and whole area type were the main types.
