Abstract:
With the daily temperature, precipitation, wind speed, sunshine hours, and relative humidity of the five national meteorological stations around Ruoergai Ecological Zone from 1980 to 2019, as well as the AOD (Aerosol Optical Depth) data of the Sunflower-8 satellite and the NDVI data from the MODIS satellite data from 2018 to 2019, the tourism climate resources and air freshness in the research area were comprehensively analyzed. Ruoergai Ecological Zone is rich in sunlight resources, with an average annual sunshine time of 2128.2 hours. The annual average temperature is 5.5℃ which is relatively low, and the monthly average temperature of each station varies between −9.3℃ to 22.6℃. The average annual rainfall is 685.6mm, and the dry and rainy season is distinct. The rainfall account from April to October is about 80% of the total annual rainfall. The annual average relative humidity is 65.7%, and the annual average comfortable humidity days are 287 days. The annual average wind speed is 1.9m/s, and the annual average comfortable wind speed days are 358 days. The air freshness index (RSAI) of the research area remains at a high level throughout the year, with the highest value of RASI reaching 24.16 in July. The air freshness of the ecological zone is at the level of “fresher” and above throughout all the year. The tourism climate resources are relatively optimal from April to October. The air freshness is at the level of “extremely high” while the temperature, humidity and wind speed are suitable and the sunshine is abundant during those months. The ecological area is cool and comfortable in summer, which is suitable for summer tourism. It is pleasantly cool in spring and autumn, but most people still could be able to withstand outdoor activities, which coincides with the flowering season and the red leaf season, is suitable to excavate phenological landscape resources.
