Abstract:
Based on hourly precipitation date of 126 national automatic weather station of Yunnan province from 2018 to 2020, the application evaluation of CMPAS two-source fusion (fast) and three-source fusion (FRT) hourly grid precipitation products (0.05°×0.05°) developed by the National Meteorological Information Center was conducted to objectively and quantitatively evaluate the applicability of the multi-source fusion precipitation products in Yunnan. The evaluation results show that the two sets of integrated precipitation products can better reflect the spatial and temporal variation characteristics of hourly precipitation in Yunnan, but practical precipitation were both underestimated. The applicability of three-source integrated precipitation in Yunnan is stronger, the hourly precipitation of 0.1~0.9mm is larger and the dispersion is higher. With the increase of hourly practical precipitation, the average error becomes negative and the precipitation prediction value is small. Three-source merged precipitation product can accurately capture the process precipitation in Yunnan Province, and have a definite advantage in landslide and debris flow monitoring caused by short-term heavy rainfall.
