Abstract: The regionalization of lighting hazard,which is based on the lighting monitoring data and the humanities and economic indicators in Nanchong,can provide scientific basis for lightning disaster prevention in the city,effectively reduce the loss of life and property and social influence due to the lightning disasters,greatly strengthen the capability in the monitoring,early warning and fore-casting of natural disasters,and significantly improve the disaster prevention and mitigation ability.Meanwhile,the statistics of lightning density and the days of thunderstorm calculated from Nanchong lightning monitoring data is quite objective.In this paper,the factors such as lightning density,thunderstorm day,economic loss risk,and life loss risk are chosen as the lightning disaster vulnerability assessment indicators for different counties/cities/districts,and the lightning disaster assessment system is established based on these indicators.Then,the vulnerability of each county/city/district to lightning disaster is comprehensively evaluated and analyzed.Finally,the regionalization is carried out.
