Abstract:
Using the ADTD lightning monitoring dataandtheatmospheric electric field data of the Ganzi and Maerkang station of western sichuanplateau, we analyzed the characteristics of atmospheric electric field in several typical thunderstorm weather processes of Ganzi and Maerkang. The results show that most of the positive and negative changes in the atmospheric electric field are partly offset by each other, and the influence of lightning on the average value of the electric field is not significant. In the analysis period, the fluctuation of the electric field value has a narrow amplitude fluctuation character around the average value of atmospheric electric field. At the same time, there are two characteristics in the plateau lightning.One is that the duration time of the lightning process is shorter in the plateau than in the plain, but the frequency of the lightning process is higher than that in the plain.The two is that the amplitude of the lightning breakdown current in the plateau is lower than that in the plain,but the strength of the breakdown electric field is larger than that in the plain.
