Abstract: By using lightning information, Sichuan Lightning Protection Center established lightning monitoring business system;using the decision tree method, combined with T213 data and ground sounding data it established lightning forecasting business system;Using the blending method, combining with radar data and lightning location data to established Lightning nowcasting and warning system, In 2008 the Center introduced CAMS_LNWS system, combined the original warning products, to generate lightning warning products of Sichuan Province.The five year running results verify that the accwacy rate of Sichuan lightning monitoring and early warning and forecasting system reached 85%, It is effectively to reduce the ghtuing disasters loss in the disaster provention and reduction organized by governmeng.which brought great social and economic benefits
